My most recent work is what you see here, though in the stages of being polished. It can be seen my desire for genuine functional detail. It was the work the artist Gene Colan who gave me my first taste of it could be done through his work. His use of shadows and form has influenced my own. My learning curve has been to understand the placing of genuine detail, to see where it fits and is placed ..adequately.My hope with his is that I can keep this as not only a personal mantra of sorts...but as a work ethic that shows within what I do.

Strengths and weakness
Texturing ..I dare say is my kryptonite , that being said I have concentrated upon the use of shaders within my work. Being around other artists has helped me to see that I can overcome this ...with a smile .My main skill is with digital sculpting and modelling, that zone for me is personal utopia. A world where detail is unleashed but with care. This is my personal area of development that I really desire to harness openly.
Digital sculpting
Seeing the myriad of great work of a character based nature, I find myself wanting to make contribution. Capturing movement within a 1/4 scale piece has been one of secret passions.
Whether it is comic book related or within the boundaries of film...I feel it a desire to be realised alongside my study with visual effects.
Animated shorts
I look forward to showcasing these works here , that being the case I will be freeing the ideas within the piles of packed notepads that contain them. Under the guise and umbrella of "Kick Back N Digtall" , a name I came up with while studying a course in web design way back in 2001. This has been used to promote my own work, I look forward to also relaying the old Flash animated work I created at that time which documents this.
