Media Centre
CMN5400 Mark’e Campbell - 97230 - Busniness proposal
As a contribution to the Media Centre programme.
3D Printing on a life size scale , this would be used to promote instances within film .
All done via the use of a given selected scene, one that would be used directly yo promote the film.
With the range of films in different genres that use visual effects as a medium this could be a good and varied yet enjoyable creative process.
Goals
Alongside this it has the possibility of creating limited edition pieces , these are one that can feature anyone who desires to be within it .
All done via the use of in house 3D scanning technology, this has been put in place via the company Elinscan . They have donated a hand held scanner that can be used in any location.

Specifications
Though this is a hand held portable 3D scanner , it can produce dimension of small to medium . This works well with head scanning that allows any person to be featured within any give 3D printed scene depiction
This hardware has been donated to the Media Centre by the “Elin Scan”
Here we at the Media Centre will be able to hold master classes to inform the general public of the use of 3D printed uses in film. With being relayed we also have blessed with a further donation via the company “Raise 3D Technologies”
This company is at the forefront 3D printing within film, the established Visual effects sculptor Steve Wang has been using this technology since 2010.

Here was the catalyst for his meeting with the company“Raise 3D Technologies” Through his work we have been inspired by ,and his use of this technology we have taken the step to invite him to head a master class for the company “Raise 3D Tecnologies”

Here is an example a Guyver 3D print , the main amount of detail in any compromised by this process of printing digitally.
This was all initially done in the software “Pixologic Z Brush”, also with the use of the hand held portable scanner by the company ”ElinScan”.
Shown here the results give way to promotional items being crated within the media centre to promote the use of this technology.
The auctioning off of the resulting 3Dprints would serve well for any given charity, it is the master classes that would bring the initial revenue.
Alos the original items created will be sold on site , these would be to the specification of those purchasing this service.

This takes reference from the original pitch to create life size scale 3D printing for film promotion. In turn this is a selling point that allows a collector to feature themselves within an original product.
In conjunction with this we will have a unique sponsorship deal, with the promotion of the materials used in the process and new steps within the field.
With the filament used within the 3D printer it will be sought to be used in an eco friendly manner. This would be used to promote the placing of more natural based filaments. As opposed to previous materials.
Raise 3D Technologies have approved the use smart materials which are a part of their open filament programme. The material in question is one that is fire proof , this eases back on any form of emission . The former technology of the filament s were very similar fibre glass. But now with the rang we can help promote a cleaner way of 3D printing in a non toxic manner. The configurations of this material can be downloaded on line
